DO Trim your wick to 1/4 of an inch before you light it.

DO Burn your candle for 1 hour for every inch in diameter of the container the first time you light it to ensure the top layer has melted evenly, striving for an even burn the life of your candle.

DON'T place your candle near moving air this will create black smoke and soot build up will occur.

DON'T burn you candle for more than 4 hours at a time. This leads to a carbon buildup resulting in mushrooming of your wick, which can be a fire hazard.
